I'd expect him a the very least to brace or move the puck and take a hit. Not to launch into a player who isn't engaging with him. Kulich isn't engaging with him at that moment, the FLA player launches into Kulich to create the contact
There was no “launching” whatsoever. Kulich crouched down like a damn ski jumper and ran right into him. There was no penalty on that play. (Except for the Sabres who jumped him afterwards.)

He is skating southeast towards his own zone coming off the bench, touches the puck, stops, and moves back towards Kulich. The only reason it may not look like a launch is because Kulich head counters the momentum and the FLA player squares straight up.

To me, it’s a launch, it’s a two minute interference at least

There can be exciting 0-0 games. Not sure this is one.

Both teams kind of playing not to lose.

One of the most exciting games I ever watched had a final score of 0-0, and it was back when ties were allowed to stand.

If I recall correctly, it was the year when the Coyotes signed Tony Amonte as a free agent, and it was our first away game in Chicago. The fans booed him every time he touched the puck, which was funny, but it was (for me at least) way overshadowed by the displays being put on by both goaltenders.
