Ekholm is the key piece. If he's still gimped up by the start of playoffs the Oilers probably aren't going far.

I love Ek.. agree. I will say though.. we did pick up Walman who is a a great LD.. our LD side is stacked... Ek, Nurse, Walman, Kulak. So we could almost sustain a LD loss. Our RD side is total shit. So is our goaltending. So I'm not expecting a game 7 final game this year.lol

I love Ek.. agree. I will say though.. we did pick up Walman who is a a great LD.. our LD side is stacked... Ek, Nurse, Walman, Kulak. So we could almost sustain a LD loss. Our RD side is total shit. So is our goaltending. So I'm not expecting a game 7 final game this year.lol

LD looks good with Ekholm at the top, if you removed him and go with Nurse, Walman and Kulak you suddenly have no capable #1 LD and a lot of #2/#3 guys

Honestly? I'd be fine with a LD of Nurse, Walman and Kulak. I wouldn't even flinch.

Now on the RD.. every single combo makes me want to puke.lol And if Bouch gets hurt our RD is Gus, stecher, emberson.lmao

I think any smart fan knows Ek is the glue. I will say that Nurse has had a pretty good season. I actually love all our LD. I can't even look at the RD side.lol
