Glad Montreal didn't clinch tonight in Ottawa, although they should Monday vs Chicago (unless they win tomorrow vs a well-rested Leafs team).

Ottawa's shutdown group of Pinto, Greig, Amadio, Sanderson, and Zub absolutely dominated Montreal's top line. They got a goal only after an icing against Ottawa's bottom pairing, and a couple of bad plays by Matinpalo.

I've got to give Detroit credit for a gutsy performance to stay alive. They have a decent team, but absolutely need a top 10 or 12 goalie to make it next year.

Oilers should clinch tonight.

I hope Calgary somehow makes it, but it's a longshot.
