Do refs make mistakes, weak or missed calls sure, they’re human. But in the end rarely does mistakes are so many it changes the outcome of a game.

Yes but there are lots of games where the only explanation is the refs are favoring a team. When a team gets 4 straight penalties and then the other team commits 2-3 obvious infractions and no penalties. No game management because that team is not a Bettman favorite.
