As a NJ native and die hard Devils fan, I want to give a huge shout out to TNT for having Sam and JD call tonights game. I reminds me of high school watching Rangers games on SC/MSG if the Devils were not playing. Sam Rosen is one of the best to ever call a NHL game, and it is getting me right in the feels.

I certainly am. Not really hearing much of it though, since we have the Rays game on another screen. I’m one of those people who can’t make sense of anything if I hear more than one person talking at the same time.

I mean that first penalty on Tavares was quite a generous call for Tampa. They put their whistles away after that for some reason. Maybe they saw the Tampa dive and are scared to be embarrassed again?

Probably 20 penalties worse than that call so far.

Seemed that way. The Tampa player even stopped skating thinking he was offside.

Feel like the refs just defer to calling it clean knowing it will be overturned if it actually was offside.

Was still young enough to be a G.M. again somewhere.......Liked his aggressive style and his win now direction.....Maybe not the guy you want if you need a rebuild but if you're a win now team he would still be a great choice........
