I get it. But the priority really is this milestone. We just witnessed an all-time record. You have to celebrate an occasion we'll never see again in the moment.

It's weird they are stopping mid period to do a ceremony, but I guess how else do you really do it? The players freaking out and Alex waving to the crowd was perfect, now it feels a bit odd. Are they going to clean this up, drop the puck, and just get back to the game after a 20 minute break?
