He’s like Quinn Hughes stylistically.

Like the trajectory of Hughes, I think there’s a lot of room to improve defensively as he’s still just a rookie.

For sure. Even defensively....he's impressive. His stick work is very good. But he also plays the body and he positions himself well to compensate for the lack of strength. Of course, he will alway be overpowered from time to time. At 20, 25, 30, 35 years old. But will always think that the good will always outweight the bad.
