That Rangers club plays slow. Not too sure if giving up so much for JT Miller was the right move, considering the direction of the team.

I mean, I get wanting the type of all around play JT can deliver up front...not to mention the swagger he brings to the table.

But he doesn't address the defensive flaws this team has.
And I am not sure what can fix players, veteran players, that simply don't seem to be on the same page as their linemates.
I am not as critical of Laviolette's coaching style as some....I think that he tends to be very cerebral on what he wants done on the ice...and it is up to the players to use their intelligence, common sense, and physical abilities to execute.

From the games I've watched the Rangers play this season, I swear guys out there are doing their own thing.....doing a bit too much at times, not doing enough on others, and many times forgetting they have TEAMMATES to work with!

Yup. Team play is fast. Individual play isn’t. I think Fox tries to move the puck with fast passes but too many guys (like you point out) hang on to the puck too long.

For fantasy hockey, I needed to add a goalie after John Gibson went DTD (again!!!)...had a choice between Joel Hofer and Anton Forsberg.

I did choose Hofer, thought I almost went Forsberg.
Anton just hasn't had the consistency that I was looking for....which makes me look lame when he plays games like he is now.

But I am in a death match against one of the higher seeds in my fantasy league's playoffs, and I NEED CONSISTENCY!

And I bet Ottawa would love to see that out of Forsberg as well, and would love to be able to go Linus/Anton whenever they want, and stand a reasonable chance of a win on any given night!

Leafs will obviously lose some of their remaining games, but they had a fight in practice yesterday so the intensity is still there. They want the division

Probably because Dallas had possession. They would probably stop it all the time for a possible injury but they would be afraid someone would fake an injury to stop a scoring chance.
