Marner has already indicated he is not for sure leaving and wants to stay, but wants to hear offers July 1st before making a decision. Pretty obvious he is gone unless they go super deep and he decides to stay and the team can sign him without the market blowing up

Not a fan of Toronto, but it would suck to see him leave. It's fun when Toronto is competitive

None of those things matter.
The leafs will do well in the playoffs if their best players play their best hockey during the playoffs.
It not happening thus far is the only reason they haven’t done well.
If and when that happens, those other improvements will prove inconsequential.

I really do think there’s a chance that Knies compete could rub off on some of his higher profile, spineless teammates, so they’re possibility, but listing off a whole bunch of changes mean nothing until the superstars are superstars when the games matter.

Watching the Leafs but the Caps down 3-0 ...Droppng like a stone..............Probably doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things but still noteworthy....

Coaching will be big....The elite coaches (Cassidy, Bednar, Cooper etc) provide the right schemes and approach to make sure their horses are on the score sheet often while sill keeping the goals against down.......
