Just to play devil’s advocate, if SN had the game, it would defeat the purpose of Amazon paying for exclusive rights (in Canada) to their Monday night game.

I’m sure SN sucks in many ways (I’m in the US, so don’t know). But on this one, the quarrel is likely with the NHL/Amazon.
Prime purchased it from Rogers, who owns Sportsnet. Rogers is double dipping by charging people full purchase price but then piecemealing out games for more money. If they sold prime the package of games but allowed those that pay for their package to watch it as well, I wouldn’t have an issue. But Roger’s (Sportsnet) blocks their own customers from viewing the games they’ve paid to watch.

Ah, ok. I get it now. I can see how that’s annoying. I don’t think US companies “sublet” their rights to sports broadcasts.

Here, when the contract is up between a league and broadcasters, it’s a free for all, and the LEAGUE is who keeps selling smaller portions to different parties. Like TNT here just lost the rights to the NBA to ESPN/Prime. The NFL has its new deal with Netflix, etc…

The finest example I've seen for why the OT charity point needs to be modified. The Devils more than happy to just eat the puck behind their net for the last 20 seconds of a tie game, and the Wild more than happy to let them eat it.

Offside. And the play only happened because thew Wild are imbeciles. Why are they leaving a Wild alone on the ice. You can't do that you idiots unless NJ is making a complete change.
