Prime purchased it from Rogers, who owns Sportsnet. Rogers is double dipping by charging people full purchase price but then piecemealing out games for more money. If they sold prime the package of games but allowed those that pay for their package to watch it as well, I wouldn’t have an issue. But Roger’s (Sportsnet) blocks their own customers from viewing the games they’ve paid to watch.Just to play devil’s advocate, if SN had the game, it would defeat the purpose of Amazon paying for exclusive rights (in Canada) to their Monday night game.
I’m sure SN sucks in many ways (I’m in the US, so don’t know). But on this one, the quarrel is likely with the NHL/Amazon.
