Haven't watched in over 30 years but the promotion out of Montreal in the 80's would run shows here (Sudbury Arena about a 30 minute drive from here)...........I think Gino Brito ran that promotion if i'm not mistaken.......My Sister's boyfriend would take me all the time when i was a little kid.......

...nope, went to Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling all the time, though...even got to see Andre the Giant & Superfly Jimmy Snuka once...one time, we went to the same Diner as a few of the Wrestlers and Killer Karl Krupp (who used to team with Ivan Koloff way back in the day) was gonna kick the shyte out of my drunken father, who was shooting off about how "fake" wrestling was; he just walked over to our table and told my mother to keep her husband quiet or he'd do it...good times...

I watched wrestling on TV in Montreal in the 60's. Andre the Giant was Jean Ferre. The Flyin Hawaiin Dean Higouchi. Edouard Carpentier (the savate) Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon.
