Thread 'Pickem has been rebuilt and TWO new NHL Survivor Pools are now open'

The board crash of March 13th wiped out all previous Pickem and Survivor pools and we had to rebuild the application from scratch. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment to our loyal players especially those playing the PREMIER LEAGUE pool.

Joke’s on you, I’ll be watching college hockey tonight. My alma mater (Arizona State) takes on the Denver Pioneers at 5:00 in the NCHC semifinal. The other semifinal (Western Michigan vs. North Dakota) comes on afterwards.

It's also on NHL Network in the US, which a lot of people don't get, whether they're cord cutters or not. I just signed up for YouTube TV for the playoffs, based on another poster's recommendation, pulling the trigger on it a month early so I could watch the rest of the college hockey postseason with it. It doesn't have NHL Network, since apparently only Fubo does. NHL Network also requires a higher subscription tier with traditional cable and satellite providers as far as I know, which if you're a fan of only hockey, isn't really worth the added cost in my opinion, since it only has the occasional exclusive game. I understand that the NHL doesn't play a large amount of games on Friday nights and lean heavily on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday games, so you'll occasionally you'll get Friday nights like tonight with only game. Then you combine that with most sports networks in the US this time of year having a their annual love affair with March Madness. What a recipe! At least it's a pretty rare combination of factors that add up to a single game on a Friday night that's only on NHL Network, when the regular season is 180ish days long.

At that point they may already be senseless, but you beat them up anyway.

Side note, since you combined "in fact" into one word and I read the post very quickly, my brain initially read it as "can you infract someone who beats you senseless" at first. Can't imagine how that would go. Someone's beating you up, and you threaten them with an infraction on a message board if they don't stop. That'll show them!
