I think it would be a little unfair to shit on Skinner for not getting a shutout when he didn't even play. Although, judging by some of the comments I've seen about Skinner, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for a few people to blame the one goal against the Oilers tonight on Skinner anyway.

Just wait until you see all the 7:30 p.m. Pacific starts that the California teams do regularly. Those don't end before 2 a.m. Atlantic time. I hate them because that means 1 a.m. for me.
I'm thankful that the one 5OT game I had to endure in its entirety (I watched some, but not all, of the Anaheim-Dallas game in 2003 that went to 5OT) was an afternoon start. Also reminds me of the Norwegian league playoff game that went to 8OT and at 2:30 a.m. local time the local police had to post on Twitter, "enough of the missing person reports, the game is still going on" (or something to that effect).

Its crazy the SV% is so low tonight for both goalies, yet they've both made multiple 10 bell saves.
Seems like shots on goal are trending downward across the league this season.

Well.. the way they defended was definitely Rick Tocchet hockey.
The team 2 year ago was like 60-70% on the PK & blowing multi-goal leads every game.. I've criticized Tocchet this year but hard to criticize tonight. That looked like last years team (when he was rightfully the Jack Adams winner).
