I don't think I've ever heard Ottawa fans be that into a hockey game as I'm hearing tonight. This feels like a playoff game.

Detroit is 3 points out of a playoff spot. Ottawa has that spot currently, and has a game in hand. If that's not a must win, I don't know what is.
It pretty much is a playoff game for the Sens a win will give them breathing room with other teams chasing needing to win.

Could see an argument for embellishment I guess, though I don't think it was. He put the blade of his stick on the guy's knee and that knocked him off balance enough to prevent him from making the play on the puck he wanted to, the result of which was that he had to play it back behind his own net again. Credit to the Wings player for continuing to skate and make what play he still could on the puck.
