Bleh, Ottawa is sleepwalking their way into the most important part of the season.

Not sure how Ottawa plays their 4 on 4, but I'm fully certain that terrible coverage was on Batherson.

He’s been conspicuously absent lately in terms of doing anything good.

Have a period Connor McMichael. Probably one of the leagues most underrated players this year (I have him on Fantasy and he's been really productive more days than he hasn't).

I have had him on mine since he was in the WJC. I have Batherson too.

Truth be told I didn’t start taking the Panthers very seriously until very recently.

Not sure why.
They've been building to what they are for quite some time...several seasons in fact.

Sometimes it takes time to be a perennial contender, but they've achieved it now obviously.
Thing with the rivalry, the media always played up TB vs FLA....but most of the time, one team was always better than the other.

It wasn't until the Panthers started butting heads with the dominant Lightning teams, while they were pretty good themselves, that a real rivalry, IMO, started.
But that goes back some time now.

It's great for hockey in the South quite frankly!

I didn’t watch much of the eastern conference before moving out here five years ago. Just wasn’t paying enough attention to realize what they had going on I guess.

Man, would love to see him continue to get better. Lighting haven't had a young forward come out of relative obscurity to be good for quite some time.
Seems like they found guys like that all the time years ago.

Nick Paul has been great for Goncalves...said so by Gage himself.

But will Goncalves have a long term future with the Bolts?
Or will he get just good enough for him to become a TB trade chip?
