Dear Bowman,

Please add Mrazek to your list.. he's cheap and good. They won't want Pickard though.

I want Stu/Vej badly
Then Stu/Gibson but not so badly
I'd be fine with Mrazek/Stu as well

Mrazek is struggling this season. Has a really bad GSAx, granted that defense is AHL-bad, but it hasn't broken Soderblom. Spencer Knight actually has a great GSAx, but not nearly as good as Gibson in about the same number of games. I can see why Chicago took him.

Still, most goalies in the league are better than either of our goalies so it won't be hard to upgrade, despite what the Stu simps say.

I'd KILL to see Mrazek on our roster. I would. He's been healthy for awhile now. He'd be great competition for Stu.

Knight was a tremendous job from Hawks IMO.

Curious, cause I know you are looking at goalies like me... what do you value more.. Gibson's last few months or his last few seasons? Now so the same for Mrazek.

Gibson is 6.5 and expires in 2 seasons, will be more expensive

Both have been playing non playoff teams.

Any backup seems to be competition for Stu at this point, so that's not saying much. He's trending towards joining his summer training partner Jarry in the AHL.

I would go with who is playing well right now because that's all you can really bank on, so Gibson all the way.

Pickard just looks really small in net for a guy that's 6'1.

Bowman needs to trade Stu before he loses all value. He's regressed each of the last two seasons, his GSAx is getting closer and closer to the bottom of the league, and he might actually be getting slower. He makes 150% what Pickard does and it's not even clear if he's actually better.

I know they did a couple seasons ago. They also share the same goalie coach... Jarry getting demoted to the A might be a really bad omen for Stu.
