Probably helped that I no longer lived in Arizona by the time we moved to Utah and didn't really feel any connection to the state of Arizona or its hockey community (though I used to be heavily involved in it) by that point either. If I still lived in Arizona at the time the Coyotes relocated, that would have likely meant two things (well the first one would definitely be true):

1) I would have never met my husband and moved to Florida
2) I'd probably stop following the NHL altogether for a while
