Nurse needs to hang back and play D. He's got terrible instincts and hockey sense.

Announces suggesting JT Miller is injured. Wrist I think they said. Do these guys not know Miller? He’s crazy, yes. But he is tough as hell and rarely misses games. He will be back out next shift.

...not making any excuse for Skinner...he's much of the issue, however that entire right side is getting caved in constantly...getting a reliable partner for Nurse will make a HUGE difference...

Agreed, a top 4 D on the right for sure, but the weakness in net has to be solved first. Too bad the "free Klingberg signing" (I wish we could trade sooo many Oiler "fans") ate almost $2 million of our available cap space, so now we have to do even more juggling and give up even more assets to get a Top 4 D or a goalie.

I think getting a better goalie is a lot easier than getting the Top 4 D, mainly because Skinner and Pickard are so much worse than people realize or wish to admit.

Slight disagree...

The part I agree with is that a 9M dman should be able.to carry a pair and he doesn't.

The part I disagree with is that they keep giving him 5/6/7 d partners and he has not had a stable d partner for a few years now.

No one believes me but he is having a great season and far from Oiler problems this year. His stigma remains but he's been solid.
