His knee issues must run deeper than tendinitis, even throughout the 4 nations he was seen icing/wrapping it.

I'm guessing he needs a scope and 3 or 4 months rest. But I'm not a surgeon. Tendinitis in my good arm has healed but I lost a couple one armed pullups on it
