Wouldn't mind seeing them trade for some secondary scoring type players.
Shouldn't cost much for that....some floating around out there.

Habs outplayed them most of the game. With Suzuki not 100% and 2 lines of stone hands they screwed up 10-15 scoring chances. Hard to believe Dvorak and Gallagher accounted for 3 goals.

Msl said a while back his young players were still learning what it takes to win. Imo the young Hab players are learning to play winning hockey as the pressure to actually have to win ramps up. Suzuki, Caufield, and Slafkovsky are learning how to not struggle under the pressure to win.
I think they will replace msl this off season with a harder nosed coach.

I doubt MSL is replaced in the near term unless he decides to leave.

No way to compare. Makar wasn't on the team until the playoffs in his 20 year old season. And he only played 57 games in his 21 year old season. And he played on a much deeper team. Hutson likely won't be as good but he is going to be of similar value to the Habs.
