I wasn't sure what to expect for a line on tonight's Jets / Isles game. The Jets were the underdogs against Carolina a couple of nights ago (made a tidy profit taking the Jets -2.5) but tonight they're the favourites, paying 1.541:1 / 2.6:1 Jets / Islanders for the win. Jets -1.5 pays 2.3:1.

Well to be fair, the last time these teams played in January the Avs were rested and the Oilers were on the 2nd of a b2b.

I'm less concerned about it being unfair to MY team specifically. I should have specified.
Avs vs Oil is one of my favorite matchups and I feel like having literally 3/3 games so far having one of the teams on no rest just reduces the chances of it being a game of the year quality game. It's not impossible though.
Avs actually have a fantastic record in 2nd game of back to backs. Just my opinion that generally those "SEGABABAs" are lower quality games because the non-rested team is usually too tired to be competitive, or they make it into a slogfest.
Oh god no. Pretty boring brand of hockey too. And Hulu is saying that this game is going to be on ESPN+ as well as NHLN, so my whinging was misplaced.

The current state of the Penguins: Rakell has to play center due to Crosby and Malkin being injured
I genuinely do not know if Rakell has ever played center in his NHL career.
