He IS a head scratcher.
It's like....someone kidnapped the real Pettersson, and replaced him with one of the many Petterssons the team has now...

Seriously though....wasn't he the reason the Canucks felt they could trade off Horvat...because Pettersson was THE solution at top line center?
Now the guy doesn't look any better than your standard center out there most nights.

Necas folds a bit and really gets thrown off his game when he's hit. The West might figure this out.

He's a pass first guy playing without wingers who finish.
 
Vanecek vs Chytil and Hronek is a good time for me.lol I do think Vanecek should be an OIl target and know I am very alone in that.

Vanecek really is looking good in this game.
But then again, that's sorta been his M.O....look good, look bad...look good....look bad for a long stretch...then look good for a long stretch.

I suspect it was one of the reasons both Washington and New Jersey ultimately gave up on him.

Suters a damn good player. Just so smart, always in the right spots, and a better wrist shot than I would've thought.

Surprising he was available for the Canucks in late August with how he's played.
 
Credit to the Sharks. Think this the best defensive game I've seen from them in years. Canucks have had more possession but not alot of glorious chances. They are battling hard to take away the middle.
