Kinda sucks to come to the full realization that we're back to the Lemaire era of "winning" here in Minnesota. We have one oft-injured star and a defensive system that's our only way to win. There's teams - better or worse - that you know you will beat, and there's others you know will beat you. The Canes are the former. Very predictable hockey. 25 years in and we're still in the same spot we started at.

You're not fooling anyone with the "We" and "Our". You're a notorious Wild hater, who for some strange reason tries to pretend that he is a fan. Don't you have something better to do with your time?

That’s how you be effective if you’re Klapka. Lay into MacKinnon and then immediately takes down Wood. Wood gets the extra minor. That’s how you get teams to waste roster spots and resources on guys like Nic Deslauriers.

Well, Minnesota fans will just have to wait and see how well Bill Guerin utilizes the new found cap space freed from the buyouts after this season, and the cap itself going up.

Also, if he can convince Kaprizov to stay on past his current contract.

If all is done well, Wild can go from a standard rag tag defensive crew, to quite the speedy, more offense oriented group in a hurry.

I can't even complain about the officiating anymore. It's been utterly atrocious all season. I'm just numb to it. I was in the arena at the game where Bobrovsky got spiral-arrowed and they said it was a good goal, and that wasn't even the worst thing I saw the refs ignore ON THAT SHIFT.
The slash that broke Balinskis' stick followed by the Sundqvist dive told me where the refs had money.
