You can get away with playing garbage when you only play them in 8 games a year on the bottom pairing or as the 7th dman. Desharnais has been in 32 games.

Kane has been a complete non-factor though, I doubt he’s going to be anymore of a physical presence when he returns than when he left.

I think he'll be the perfect 3/4th liner. Give him 12 a night and tell him to run into things and punch things. That is innate for him. He may still be a top 6er next season too. I'm not a huge fan of his ftr.
