if you goalie allows 3 goals on 10 shots, Your D is probably not the problem. 10 shots over 55 minutes is pretty damn good defending and Caps have great forwards.

This is the Caps almost every game the last couple weeks regardless of who they face. They get 15-20 shots on net most games now, but still find a way to win.

Not saying that to defend Skinner or anything, he hasnt done much this game.

It's sad that this is the third consecutive season where we need a goalie for the playoffs. Even in 2023 I was praying for them to land Korpisalo, who sure shit the bed the next season but was outstanding for a Doughty-less LA in round one. I know there's all this chatter about getting a top 4 D-man, but if we can't afford that and a goalie, I say just get a bigger, better replacement for Troy, keep Kulak with Nurse, and get a f***ing goalie!!!
