12 hours from now, the EC wildcard spots could be any two of these teams:

:sens:bruins
:habs:bolts
3rd in the Atlantic could also change hands if Ottawa wins and TB loses. Flyers-Wings is another one to watch, the Flyers could crawl right back into the picture with a win

Devils one regulation win in last 11 games.
But all the talking heads had them as world beaters after getting Markstrom and Keefe. ha!

The NHL's regular season gets criticized, but the ebb and flow of various teams makes nightly scoreboard watching a must. The Rangers slumped, then my Bruins had their worst skid in ten years, now the Devils are undergoing a tough stretch. Several teams just below the wild card line are surging. I wish Boston was in a safer position, but I'm sure as hell not going to miss a game, they're too big in the standings right now.

"It's a game, you know it's a passion obviously. I don't think he [meant] to do that," the Capitals captain said. "But sucks for him, good for us. He's not playing tonight, we'll take it."

Boston Ottawa great game last week end. Play off like.
The Pens have been within striking distance of a wild card spot for 2 1/2 seasons. 200 game stretch and we all know they won't make it again. But it's close? I guess.
Devils look like shit as of late. One regulation win in last 11 games.
Maybe they're not a lock after all.
Sens will make it.
Second wild card in east will be a battle of three - Bruins, Rags and Devils.

Start the count. Hutson hooked and no penalty. Penalty on Mtl ignored. Kucherov hooks a Hab and Matheson gets a penalty for nothing.
