GDT: HFBoards GDT: 01/18/2024 | A day off.... ok there are three games.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

They didn't have play by play did they? It was the intermission team talking. I didn't hate it, literally just a couple guys reacting to what they saw and talking puck...

Couldn't do that every game but for me, and that game, I thought it was different and not the worst.

Yeah I guess it wasn’t play by play - it reminded me of The Manningcast which I think is awful.

Well actually Montembeault has had a top 5 sv% (930) through January,
Slafkovsky, Caufield and suzuki (and monohan) arę carrying the offense with
dvorak, anderson, pearson, newhook and dach all injured.
And I'll give a shout out to 4 dmen all 24 or under playing very well.
Struble has been a revelation.

now back to the regular cast of characters and their habs shit-posting

The play by play crew went to Buffalo so they didn't have a crew on site to do the game, so they went twitch stream mode and just podcasted during the game. If people really were interested in that style of presentation or the hosts it can be enjoyable. I wanted to watch real play by play and couldn't.

Yup. Habs exposed the young Devils’ D (Nemec and Hughes). Month had it tough.
