WJC: HFB posters WJHC Power Rankings

Its so hard with so many good teams, the only one of those that had a harder time than others is Canada.
 
I kinda don't like round robin in anything tbh, it's weird. How often have we see a team blow up another team in prelims, only to fall by one goal in knockout stages?

Using the 2010 Olympics as a recent example, the USA beat Canada convincingly in Round Robin, only too fall in OT of the gold medal game.

How does that make Canada the definitively better team? In my book they're 1-1. Furthermore, using the weird point system of the IIHF, the USA technically had more points. Regulation win = 3 vs OT win = 2.

Sweden is underappreciated and flying under the radar. Good for them.

because they arent standings. they are power rankings. that poster probably thinks that if finland played russia 100 times finland would win more often than not and has them ranked higher than russia. finland also has a dominant first line thats scoring at will this tournament.

yes, but Russia won all 4 games without breaking a sweat (hopefully)
