Hahaha, I told you guys my big name players weren't overpaid and underperforming vets. Jared Staal, Jordie Benn and Max Domi are not any of those things, but they are big name players. Glad I got all 3 surprisingly. Gives incentive to their brothers

Yeah, his style was stifled in defensive-minded Minnesota. He might even play on Tavares' wing. Certainly he will have a top-6 role and see powerplay time. Plus he's on a 1-year contract with all the incentive to perform well to lock down a big contract next offseason while still in his twenties.

Exactly my thought!

His situation is similar to that of Frolik (my Phantoms' 4th line RW), who went from a limited role on the Blackhawks to an expected top-6 role next season in Winnipeg. In fact, I'm not sure who to start in that slot, Frolik or Bouchard. Hopefully one of them has a career year with their new club.
