I got to this:

Anaheim over Boston in the final
Pittsburgh and Colorado to CF
New York, Tampa, Chicago and San Jose to the second round

I've got Anaheim and Chicago in the WCF, Rangers and Bruins in the ECF, and us beating Anaheim in the finals.

I am so not a homer.

Avs over Minny
Hawks over Blue
Ducks over Stars
Kings over Sharks
Bruins over Wings
Lightning over Habs
Pens over Jackets
Rangers over Philly

Chicago over Avs
Ducks over Kings
Bruins over Tampa
Pens over Rangers

Chicago and Boston in the final again

Boston comes out on top

I am not likely to win this. But as an eternal optimist I have Rangers beating Avs in SCF - I really appreciate you setting this up, Inferno. And great price Kreiderman!!! Much appreciated, and calls for some good fun when rangers are not playing as well.

I joined.

Projected first round winners:

Boston
Montreal
Rangers
Detroit

St. Louis
Colorado (I keep going back and forth on a potential Hawks/Avs series)
Anaheim
San Jose

Really?

My picks:
RedWings, Bolts, Pens, Rangers
Blues, Avalance, Ducks, Sharks

Wow that St. Louis B-Hawks Series.

A really good team is going to be out in the first. Best matchup of the first round for sure.

I picked St. Louis in 7. I think they finally get over the hump. Really tough pick though.

My bracket:

I'll take Bruins over Hawks in the finals. NYR beat Pitt but lose to Boston in the Conference Finals.

LA and NYR to conference finals are long shots, but there isn't much point picking a bracket that 50 other people will have.

My first bracket had LA making it to the finals. I have since changed my mind about that, but I'm only allowing myself one revision in case I got it right the first time I don't want to end up kicking myself in the ass.

That said, I'm feeling confident going with the Ducks to make the finals. Beating Chicago in the WCF. :crossfing

I was a total homer for this one but I have us losing to Boston in the CF and the Bruins winning over Anaheim. :D
