There are ways to do it but I don't know currently as I haven't had to do that for a few years (used to watch Hulu).

This conversation seem to be heading good direction but;

Is this cougar thing bretty much more about relative age difference?

I allways thougt that the rule was (your age -/+ ((your age/2 -/+ 7years)) and result is your socially accetable dating age range. Go over or under and your cougar/toyboy or [young female dating older person?]/old dirty man depending on your situation.

So you (or me but since I have dude parts I would be dirty old man if) as example:
29 / 2 = 14.5 y
14.5 + 7 = 21.5 y (lower limit) <-- Go under this and you can be viewed as cougar
29 + 14.5 - 7= 36.5 y (upper limit) <-- Go over this and you will be [young female dating older person]

So if the guys is 25 you are not even close to cougar limits... But try imagining yourself dating say.. you know.. Mark Scheifele of Jacob Trouba and you might see the light?

Other competing theory would be that this kind of procedure leaves an grey area in the results where older persons lower limit has passable value to date the youger person, but youger persons higer limit does not reach older persons age. To make those relationships more socially acceptabe there would then be this cougar or what ever the ******* rule. (Say 40 yo person lower limit is 27, but 27 yo upper limit is 33.5 yo so... you know, half passable still?)

Considering I remember the years when they were born... Although I have had crushes on many of younger guys. Google Transcona cougar. It's quite hilarious. It's an area of Winnipeg.
