Not sure why people are voting Kidney. He had a rough first season in the AHL which point to him not being a top 6 and he doesn't have the atttibutes to be a bottom 6 player.

He played in the bottom 6. Give him a top 6 role, and his stats will look a lot better.

You think he has maxed out?
He was still frail physically last year, will gaining strength help or is his game just not translatable to the next level?

Dont tell me he is 2024 Ben Duffy : (

No but he is so far behind to be a NHL top 6 i think he'll never be able to catch up. He'll progress and become a good european league pro but that's about it i think. The other guys are far too but the possess attributes to be effective bottom 6 guy. Don't think Kidney's game translate well to the NHL unless he has clear top 6 skills which i don't think he has. Will be easier for him in Europe on bigger ice and smaller players, Sebastien Bordelau would be a better comparable.
