At that point, it's hard to pick and choose between guys who have a path to the NHL on a limited role (Tuch), possibly more potential players but further out (Koivu, Kidney) and wildcards like Rorher.

Went with Tuch for now.

We used to have guys like Reway as top 10 prospect i mean the current prospects pool looks great lot of them will fail but i don't see how we can't have at least around 5 top 6 / 4 NHL players out of that

It's nice to tank properly - and the drafting has been much better so far.

p.s. I liked Reway before his injury!

I liked him too but he was a small not elite skilled European forward. Those rarely pans out and when they do they have often a short career like Berezin. Koivu is probably a better prospect than the likes or Reway, Andrighetto, Collberg, Ikonen ... since he's at least 6 feet.

Koivu. Doesn't matter who you add this is the last 2-3 votes for guys with any chance of NHL cups of coffee.

I think your missing Jacob Perreault as a prospect option for the Habs.

Koivu, add Khanin

Filip Mesar and Sean Farrel dropped so much in the ranking. Mesar still has a good chance to go up in the ranking. He need to have a great season in the AHL.

Mesar didn't drop that much. Only three spot in fact... but you also have to consider that we added Demidov and Hage to the pool and some others prospects had clearly a better year than him. Let's hope he has a good season in Laval.

I just realized they drafted Ben Merrill, a player with a whooping 2 games of stats collected.

You need to check players' Elite Prospects pages. They show their stats of almost all of their previous levels. Some going all the way back to midget-AAA.

HockeyDB only shows stats of more main leagues. Last year, Merrill played at a prep high school (same school Struble played in before he was drafted). He played 25 games there putting up 18 goals and 37 pts. And he played 2 games in the USHL after his high school season was over.

Since HockeyDB doesn't list the high school stats, all they have listed for Merrill are his 2 USHL games. But on Elite Prospects, you'll get his stats dating back to the 2020-21 season, going back to his 14-15 year old season.
