I'll take the opposite side here. I find it hard to stay engaged when I see my guy struggling to stay in the NHL and then scroll down to the dreaded "No News"
He did I might have missed it I’ll add it in
I can hear that, our players are slowly getting better. Around season 6/7 is when the players take a big jump as most of those big contracts go to UFA and our players get those first line minute roles

yeah, that's a bit my opinion as well. I like to see the scoring totals on my guy slowly ramping up, that's cool, but if he were to stay mediocre his whole career and be a depth player, it's not crazy interesting. But then I would probab'y look at other superstars to see how they're doing.
On the flip side, if my guy is struggling hard, bouncing around lower level leagues (but being amazing there), that sounds pretty fun to follow his career.
I dont mind them struggling early on, it's just if his career is 20 years of 20-30 points on a third pairing, there's not much to see.
On this run though, I'm very curious to see if rhe Ukrainian players develop strongly and bring the country to new heights

Had a feeling expansion teams would suck since they have no good players.
Basically our players are the best they’ve got but they need time to fill the potential.
