HF Board Update questions/issues thread

IMHO, still way, way, way too many spam ads on this site. It's gone the "infestation" route like the Denver Post did.

Does anyone know why GIFs aren't working on my computer? They work fine on my phone.

What file extension did they save under on your PC? Several months back I ran into an issue where everything I tried to save a .gif it converted their extensions to .jpg when they saved, so they would only open as a still picture rather than the whole .gif

I'm not saving them. The ones posted on this site, not all of them but several, have no animation when viewed on my computer. However, if I open the same page on my phone, they work fine. IDK if it's a web browser issue or an issue with this site. I use Chrome on my computer, and Samsung browser on my phone. Just seems weird to me, and I never had an issue before this site "updated".

Regardless of cause... I like my solution.

Unplug it, let's all hit up a bar and then just plug it back in and get back at it tomorrow. It's gotta be noon somewhere afterall.
