HF Board Update questions/issues thread

O my god there is now 10 adds to scroll. Its like a tumor. My limit is 20...

Honestly, I don't know how anyone could use this site on a phone.

Granted, I'm an OG PCMR kind of guy but phones simply aren't worth the hassel. I've got a perfectly good iPhone SE (1st generation) that is working perfectly. Except for the fact that Apple quit supporting it years ago, have removed more than 50% of the apps I have purchased and have actually turned Duo into a foreign language.

My next phone is probably going to be a dumb one. I do pretty much everything on my computer anyways.

Well somehow the last wipe moved the breadcrumbs to after the adds.

Can you just move the bottom breadcrumbs back after the social media icon. Problem solved...

Dont make the site annoying to to use like watching youtube videos annoying....

I have no problems with midpricing(300 range) android phone using the site. Just that with the UI overhaules and the last ui wipe reworked has borked the add placing....

Most posts were recovered, but the ones that weren't are just gone.

Are tweets still slow loading for everyone else?

Takes like 30-60 seconds to load them sometimes. Seems like maybe another Xenforo issue.

Mine are loading fast. However, on occasion they will just stop loading and I'll have to clear my cache and data for HF boards and re-login to fix the issue. Don't know if that will work for your issue, since your's do seem to still be loading.

Yeah it's hit and miss for me too. It's especially bad with multiple tweets on the same page or the same post. Same with images. Sometimes it's fine sometimes not.

Like right now it's ok, but earlier I saw reference to a tweet about the Avs, and was just sitting there for 30+ seconds looking at an empty post waiting for it to load.

Haven't cleared my cache or done anything different.

I’d love to support HF if they could get their shit together and getting rid of ads would be a nice bonus to showing that support. However I do not support half assed work. I know that sounds harsh and I do love this site but until they can stop having random refreshes throwing you from your spot of reading in a thread, having partially typed out posts refresh and disappear, among many other glitches that happen an a very regular basis, they can get stuffed. As a free option to discuss hockey it’s great and the ads are no reason to complain. The broken state of this site is however.
