Hmm... I'm on Chrome. Using the new uBlock Origin Lite.
I accidentally uninstalled uBlock Origin after Chrome deleted it. But the new Lite extension that is supported on Chrome seems to work well for me. There is a scalable level of what you want to attempt to block.
For the most part I try not use it but so many websites are obnoxious with adds. I can't stand motion graphics in advertisement while I'm trying to read an article. Sure fill up the vast amounts on the sides of the screen not being used for the article to put up banners or print advertising, but the moment they start flashing pictures and trying to get you to disengage with the article you are reading it's time to get blocked.
