We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

See there’s a note near the bottom about adding hide avatars option. Can we make that selective so we can just all hide @The Kingslayer’s avatar but leave everyone else’s alone?

Would it be possible to have threads with unread content be a slightly different color rather than just bolded?
I'm afraid my vision isn't what it used to be and it's actually tough for me to discern between what is bolded and not when on a board menu page.

I’m sure that will be something @SniperHF can look at at some point once the bigger functions of the site are taken care of
Correct. Admittedly it’s a bit difficult to see as well. I’ve accidentally clicked on a read thread a few times

Perhaps a slight font increase on the bolded unread threads might help?
Maybe a small white rectangle with rounded corners around user names to make them pop a bit in dark mode too? Like the blue one around the "Sponsor" in light mode.

IMO dark mode is better than it was pre crash but still needs work. Kinda low priority for me since it's very time consuming to fix stuff in there.
Unread threads is higher up the list, pretty common complaint. I think on the old pre crash pre 2.3 update site I had them one font size up and bold not just bold. The only problem is if I change that text it will probably change something else lol

Didn't we use a red-dot at one time denote unread threads? Or maybe I'm confusing with another board.

Why after the site crash I cant see any of RIALs X posts? The posts are gray with github error.
I had this issue as well. I cleared my history and cache and they started popping up again.

Oh... I was hoping RIAL had blocked us all on X and somehow and it carried through.

It was honestly easier to add that than f*** with the fonts.
It's only in light mode right now but can be added to dark just have to figure out the colors.

Seems fine to me. If people find it too busy, a simple red dot would probably work just as well.

Looks great to me, but if folks think it's too busy I could certainly understand.
Wasn't expecting a rush job on this by the way. Me continuosly clicking into completely read threads isn't really an accessbility issue that needs resolved asap.

This was due to my antivirus sw deciding that the github url s9e.github.io was not trusted source. Needed to add it as exception.
So nothing @RoyIsALegend could have done
The priority at which I tackle various issues is mostly based on which ideas I have for accomplishing them first.Looks great to me, but if folks think it's too busy I could certainly understand.

I'm not really a scripter by trade so when I figure out how to do something I get at it even if it's lower priority. Otherwise I'll forget lol

It does seem a little too busy to me personally, but it is such a small gripe and I’m just happy/thankful for the work you are doing
