I know they are working on a new dark mode style but it takes literally 5 secs to change font colors so the username and page numbers are easier to read. Then they could take their time to change whatever else they want to change.

@SniperHF is anyone else reporting this? I mostly use mobile and the scrolling has definitely gone down the tube since an update in the last couple days.

Just a fyi @SniperHF since yoy said report issues... This is still going on. Appears to be the compose button that's causing it. If you're scrolling that the button pops up, it freezes the scroll.

I'm still waiting a bit to fix things because of reasons beyond my control Maybe end of this week I'll amek another pass, almost every fix I've done before I have noted down and can reimplement faily easily.

FWIW I have not observed this behavior on my various devices/browsers.

The new thread button from the main forum pages. Doesn't do anything within a thread itself.

I'm on safari mobile usually when I browse. Currently using light theme.

If you go to the news and announcements forum here where you do not have the ability to make a new thread, does it still do it or not do it?

It does not. That button also doesn't appear, assuming since my permissions prevent new threads.

It wasn't an issue before that button appeared in the last week-ish.

I switched to dark mode since it became available again. However, team boards are grouped up again, and I have to click for a drop-down menu for teams to show. Rather teams just be listed like light mode.

I feel like the over/under line for who both gets the turkey girl reference and thinks it's funny is like 50 people. None of them are new users that have joined in the last 15 years.

The origin of turkey girl thread last year on the main board had 59 posts with many from the same people.

Is the plan to have to explain this to every new member that joins the site, because it doesn't look like a "wow" face?

If you mean you didn't get the turkey girl reference, I didn't get it at first either. Feels like a very niche main boards thing.

But you know what it is. It's HFBoards Heritage. You don't just abandon things because they're old.

They're great, so of course, why would we keep them? Why even add them at all if they're just going to disappear? What's the actual justification?

And why are the avatars still so small? And why is there no home button at the top of the page on mobiles? Why are hyperlinks still the same colour as regular text?
