Alright guys after suggesting this idea in the draft thread and getting some positive feedback on it I've decided to go through with it.
Pretty simple idea. Everyone posts an official mock draft of there own in this thread(First round only), and when the draft is over(Or while it's happening live) we'll tally up the number of correct picks everyone has and determine who had the most accurate mock draft this year. For bragging rights obviously.
Rules are pretty simple:
- 1st round of the draft only.
- Mocks will be accepted up until 6:30(est) on the day of the draft(So June 22nd).
- If you want to get really ambitious and predict trades feel free to do so, but no bonus points awarded for correctly predicting a trade
- Mocks are going to be scored in two separate ways. One will be a straight shot where every correct pick is worth a singly point.
- The other way of scoring will reward correctly predicting draft picks the deeper in the first round it gets(Since these picks become much more wide open then the top of the draft). Scoring will be as follows:
- Picks 1-10 correct = 1 point each.
- Picks 11-20 correct = 3 points
- Picks 21-31 correct = 5 points
For those who want to participate but aren't particularly well rehearsed in this draft, here's a few different lists and rankings that you can look through to help creating your own mock.
