Hey Terry, Do Us A Favor and SELL

Is this inside information or ore you are just guessing/hoping?
they simply cannot.. Adams has the credibility and respect of twelve year old girl that thinks hockey is played on grass w sticks and a ball...( no offense to those tough field hockey girls.

he had five years to fix the team and purposely failed.. purposely.

if he returns and people don't revolt we have become tower zombies that resemble the spine of Adams as simple obvious changes weren't made to salvage what is not a bad team. w toxic contracts that should be bridged until team reaches playoffs

novikov and roc forwards and prospects prove this org is close and being held back..

this is a crucial summer at the restaurant at the end of the universe.

appreciate the Douglas Adams ref. +50 points to you.

Yeah I've realized within the last month or so waffling between anger at the owner/"GM"/franchise and apathy that i'm just done. Done.

The only thing that could bring me back would be massive and shocking/meaningful change. FFS the goddamn Bruins miss the playoffs *once* and they put an apology in the paper to fans in the region. Here it's just 'we know what we're doing' despite having the collective intelligence, respect, and charisma of a squonk.

the original BBC series all 6 episodes which are tough to find and strange like the books make people fall asleep if they aren't ready for next scene

on internet archive all 6 I'll send actual link if you need

and restaurant in pegulavile is a shot at the most thieving casino ever built in the zone of our fracking savior that seem to give Adams license to tease us and sabotage the second most winning franchise before he polluted it..

we are only 1 or two d veteran defensive stars and two top 9 to top 6 two way team asst captain examples to allow us to compete w anyone in the watered down nhl playoffs

Me and my tinfoil hat are still convinced that Pegula is sick of the Sabres dragging him through the mud when he's a rockstar in Orchard Park.

Beane has said Pegula puts a ton of pressure to win now. I really think that Terry wants out of being perceived as a dipshirt and wants to sell the Sabres with a SB trophy to his name to keep his legacy positive.

I think the KBC lease date is a date Pegula has had on his calendar for a while now.

The more inept this franchise becomes and the more time passes without being a serious NHL team the more I'm convinced

Selling the Sabres to someone who moves them would totally destroy his legacy no matter what the throwball team does.

I think that depends on who you talk to and what the Bills do in the post Allen/McBeane era.

The NFL is the bigger badder league with way more media hype. Because of it the Bills legacy will always over shadow the Sabres plummet.

To a large extent the Bills success are shielding the Sabres from way more criticism than they could potentially get.

Imagine the Pegula gate if this was peak Bills draught? Or if he never recovered from his terrible people management of Whaley, Brandon, Rex era.

If the Bills go back to the draught era he'll never recover. If they're a perennial 10 win team for a decade, the city will separate Pegula from the Sabres in their minds (and hearts)

What became of that roundabout-sale-rumor with Boston and Pittsburgh, any legitimacy to that?
I'm obviously grasping at straws when it comes to my whaning Sabres support and that was one of those straws.

Can Danny Wegman step in?

I wouldn't even be mad if he swapped the franchises. The AHL Buffalo Americans and the NHL Rochester Sabres.

The new problem for a Sabres sale that didn't exist in 2011 is that we don't need a team to be a great TV market for the league. I think the NHL used to fear Buffalo losing a team because we were always a very good TV market. Losing a team might cost the league viewership.

But thanks to Pegula's proof concept, turns out Buffalo doesn't even need a hockey team to turn the NHL on TV. We went from like 99% attendance and near the top of the league in average capacity to below 80% and near the bottom of the league in average capacity. But all the while we stay a top 5 city for viewership for the Stanley Cup.

The only owner in all of sports that would keep KA as GM...
Well, if you think the Sabres are bad...I'd like to introduce you to the OHL's Niagara IceDogs. Take our sitch, multiply it by...a LOT...and then you can figure out how bad the IceDogs are. (Do a search for them and all will be revealed.)
