This hurts my brain. Enroth deserves zero criticism for that game.

Good thing it wasn't negative criticism then. Enroth and a depleted defense held on to win 4-3 in overtime, that was under *good*. It was not a 40 save .950 save percentage *white hot* performance, god mode was turned off. Wasn't bashing him at all, thought the phrasing was specific enough to express that.

Don't know why everybody hates them so much. They're not really ugly, IMO, just kind of reminiscent of some other team (Nashville?). Then again, I also thought, the slug had something

- Ennis making things happen
- Hodgson got a goal
- 4 man D & Enroth held on just enough
- team had fighting spirit and kept playing to win
- fortunate to catch the Panthers tired and without Barkov & Luongo
- scored 4 goals

B- injury to Gorges
- Enroth isn't white hot anymore
- there was a lot of sloppy by almost everyone, Risto & Zad on that goal against stands out

Maybe too much stating the obvious, but...

Enroth had little-to-no help from his defense and therefore little chance on all 3 goals. Certainly not the back-door play. Others noted Ristolainen's rough night, etc.

FWIW, Montoya didn't appear set on Foligno's & Gionta's goals. Granted, both were tough situations.

Stafford. This guy never gets enough props around here. If Stewart tried to drive to the net with power moves like Staff, he might actually have some value. Also, great defensive play to help save a goal.

About halfway through last year, he stopped appearing in everyone's "Bad" sections. That was their way of saying "good."

I love staffords skating and his will to bring the puck infront of the net
