My only concern is the precedent of billionaires using foundations like personal slush funds. TD already used the foundation to look good about paying other employees.

Didn't stop me from contributing—just made me realize that when you pay the attorneys and politicians to write the rules even the best intentions of the rest of us don't really matter.

I don’t work for, but have worked with the Canes Foundation. They’re legit and not a “slush fund”.

How do we get this in front of more people? Share it on our social media, yes, but we need to get it in front of the whole fanbase somehow.

Maybe @saraciv420 would be willing to help?

I completely understand that—but the Foundation was used to pay salary. While COVID 19 is unprecedented, that struck me as unconventional. In fact, that would be something @saraciv420 could ask.

To be fair, it didn’t really pay salary. It gave financial relief to employees who were furloughed. It’s not like they were owed money and Dundon dipped into the Foundation to pay it off. This was more like a Red Cross type effort for people who were suddenly cut off with no warning.
