Hell yeah Freddie, and man I love having Hall on this team. Dude is clearly bought in and giving it his all. Not the same player he was when he won hart obviously but I want to get him locked up for like 3-4 more years

Seems like the team agrees. He brings needed skill and offensive zone awareness to the middle-6 but also molded his game to making plays like that one we just saw on the defensive side. He won’t put up 70 points but we don’t really need him to if he’s bought in and playing like he has been. He can also still skate pretty dang well.

It feels like a tone change on this team today.
Maybe it’s a short term thing, but at least for now we’re watching a group where every player is bought in.
Team has finally shown some life. Group has been together for several years, time to inject some young blood into the lineup and move on from inconsistant underperforming players...

Man, i've been a chatfield homer for a long time so it is pretty sweet seeing the trust given to him to play his off side with a rookie. And they haven't looked bad.
I don't want to be too biased by seeing too many highlights and too few routine shifts, but morrow might be getting close to the point where keeping him in the ahl would be worse for his development than keeping him up. He can still work on developing defensively, but i'm really starting to think he should start next year full time with the big club.
