Buium was on Denver...

Ethan Edwards was the PP1 dman on Michigan this year but he's now signed with the Devils for next season. Seamus Casey was there the year before that, and Luke Hughes back another year. We might end up having to trade Mews to the Devils lol

I mean Buium was with Denver, so he's definitely not taking PP time from Mews lol.

But looking at the Wolverines roster...
I think Tyler Duke, who is going to be a senior will be the guy Mews has to take PP time from and he was under a half point per game.

I think the NCAA will be good for him. He's definitely a longer term project. His defensive game and effort was really iffy this year, I thought he looked a lot better when he was initially traded to Sudbury but after they started losing he reverted back to how he was playing in Ottawa.

He's a good prospect though, hopefully he does a couple years at Michigan and comes out more well rounded and ready to hit the ground running.

Mews, if he's as good as he's been in the O, will run the Wolverines PP1, unless of course, Michigan brings in an even better CHL defenseman. Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald has alluded to the fact that Michigan is sitting on some silent commits from the O, those should be announced in the coming months.
