Hi everone! My first post at HF, even though I have been following the forum for many years. I tried to find a thread about this topic, and I apologize if I posted wrong.

As some of you may know, Henrik and Zucc will host an outdoor charity game in Oslo August 11th with lots of good player, including Chara, Brassard, Zib, McDonaugh, Hagelin, Ekman-Larrson, Hedman, bäckström among others. The game is hosted at Ullevål stadium in Oslo, and currently 15 000+ tickets (capacity 25 000) are sold.

I was wondering if this is an event people from this forum is going to watch live? If so, is there any interest to gather up front?

I gave you your first like.

Remember this.

Try Norwegian Airlines, very low fares. 2 hrs flight from Köln or Düsseldorf, if you live in Aachen.

You really shouldn't miss this event :)

Well, I am currently building a house and time is rare, money is however, more rare :P
Additionally, my little son gets 2 yrs on 10th August and I think I might not miss that as well ;)

Btw, OT: Does someone know where to get NYR apparel for my little 2yr old?
It will be next year when I will be able to visit NYC for the 3rd time.

If it's not broadcast I'm sure you can find it on Kodi or somewhere else.

I'm not generally a fan of the exhibition series stuff, but charity is always nice.

Hope it's fun for everyone attending, watching and that none of the players get hurt.

On the 10th, day before the game, there will be an evening show where the draft will take place. Hank and Zucc will select their teams based on 40 players, among them 20-30 active NHL-players. The complete list isn't ready yet.

There's a crazy competition between Hank and Zucc, the winner of the game will have bragging rights in the locker room next season :D

1 week to the event. Looks like Glen Sather will be there too.

Yes, Glen Sather will be a special guest on Saturday. Hank & Zucc really appreciate the support from the Rangers organization.

Also working on a live stream in the US and Canada :)

The weather is going to be crap (hopefully it wont be raining). We had a month of extreme heat (extreme for us, chilly by Texas standards), with lots of sun, tropical nights (temperature never goes below 20 Celsius), etc.. in short, stable high pressure... then the weather shifted, temperature is dropping like a rock, low pressure after low pressure is moving in, rain, thunder, you name it. Just our luck...lol

Yeah, typical. It's been between 77 and 94 degrees Fahrenheit and not a cloud in the sky since early May, and the week the classic comes: 64 degrees when the puck drops.

Latest weather report is atleast good. Its forecast around 18 degrees Celsius with almost no wind. Should be a light
cloud covers, so should help the ice stay decent. Was hoping for some free tickets as I have helped organised the transport of the ring from Germany to Norway at work. Guess I will watch it on TV.

Yes, cloudy in Oslo, but near Tønsberg 10 miles south it`s rainy so weather is local indeed.

Enjoy the travel, and maybe visit part of the mountains, because the nature is both wild and amazing in that month and late summer. But you need more than a weekend, because it take some hours with a car from Oslo for instant. :)

Reiseguide for Hardanger | Hardangerfjorden, Trolltunga, Folgefonna

Just did Trolltunga last month after a work trip in London/Copenhagen. That whole area is spectacular. This game seems like the perfect excuse to visit the country.
