i agree (especially as a proud new jerseyan, in case u didn't notice) that nyc is a dirty tourist trap rife for catastrophic overcrowding due its dilapidated public transit infrastructure that too many people local to the area need to rely on and the public officials in both new york and new jersey have sucked at getting new **** done since we built all the bridges and tunnels between out two states 80+ years ago and now we literally don't have enough ****ing traffic lanes and train tracks over/under the hudson... **** rant incoming... anyway i digress.

but it's still the capital of the world in terms of being home to literally the united ****ing nations and every race, religion, and language that i can think of. it's a special place.
