Heiskanen up until this year, he's not even pacing for 40 points. Hard to put him ahead of the other two right now.

Very even choices, albeit I think that's a testament to how good Miro is comparing with guys 2-4 years older than him. I think Miro fits the bill better as a true #1D although Zach is having a helluva season.

He had another good run last year as well and his best seasons is 3 points off Morrissey’s best, and 16 points higher than Werenski’s best. He’s been inconsistent offensively but he’s the best of these three defensively and has some high production highs. I think he’s been overrated at times but it’s not like he hasn’t been a very good defenseman for quite a few years. There’s a lot of focus on Werenski’s production this year but his defensive numbers continue to be mediocre.

As an Avs fan who’s seen Dallas eliminate my team twice in their Stanley cup window, Playoff Heiskanen drives that team, both in offense and defense. He’s unreal. If I could add any player in the league to our D it would be him.
