Who should be called up?

Even, if some don't like him anymore, he's the leading scorer in Laval, i would give Roy another chance.
Unless he's playing the top 6, I don't see his skill set translating to what we require to replace Heine. I haven't completely given up on him just yet, but given what our top 6 will look like next season, I don't see who he supplants to steal a winger spot.

I'm thinking he'll be most valuable to us as a piece in a trade.

ABB should be added to the list because he is a LW and that's what we are missing with Heineman out. I think he's the one they call up. Let Beck and Roy finish their AHL seasons.

Signing ABB was for this very reason. Depth so we don't have to rush a prospect or derail any progress they are making in Laval.

If we want to replicate the 4th line's identity, then it's Beck as no one else is close to having the same skating (especially), shot and size. But at the same time, I'd like to see Beck play a full AHL season...

It's a bummer all around, Heineman was doing so well

Any reason why they haven't called anyone up yet?

Are they really going to keep playing Pezzetta?

He "played" 3:50 last night...

They are travelling today and they don't need to officialize any call-ups until tomorrow.

i think i wanna see Beck. Would be cool an dan other interesting story to keep the actual boost alive.

As far as calling up a player with a similar role, Davidson comes to mind. He's also having a good season so far with an increase in production with his solid shot. He would fit way better in the bottom 6 than a guy like Roy, whom I do not see on this team currently with the way we are playing and heading. I know lots of people mentioned he would be a good trade chip and I have to agree. Tough to see him winning a spot by in the line-up but I've been wrong before...

Otherwise, Beck would deserve to be the next call-up, but he plays at C. He's playing with confidence and is assertive at the AHL level. If any C would go down, I hope he's first in line for a cup of coffee...

I'd bring up Beck to see what the Habs have in him. If they end up deciding that Evans is too rich in his contract demands it would be beneficial to know if an internal player can replace him.

That's a good point. Also to add to my last post; Roy had several chances already and was a total non-factor in his previous call-up. Give someone else the chance; it will motivate the group.
