OT - NO POLITICS Hazy Days of Winter.

Charlie, I hope you and your family have a blast on your cruise. I hope you get some really good quality time in with them and make some everlasting memories. The kids grow up fast so take advantage of it while you can.

Don't let the rest of these "I don't like cruises" knuckleheads ruin your vibe. They ain't invited, anyway....

Thanks bud!

I’m not worried about the haters lol. Everybody has their thing it’s all good!

No kids on this vacation so I’m excited about quality time with the better half of TD Charlie. The kids are bullshit about it, but the grown ups need a moment. We have taken them to Florida 3 years in a row, and Sesame Street/six flags the year before all that. With little New Hampshire getaways all mixed in there. They’ll still get a big summer vacation I’m sure, but they’ll be ok sitting this one out.

Just realized there's only 11 home games left in the 2 months remaining in the season. The end is a lot closer than I realized

It is the Full Snow Moon tonight. It is appropriate since we have a major storm arriving this afternoon. I wonder if it will be as intense as they are forecasting. Some businesses have already planned on being closed tomorrow. We have accumulated so much snow and have had no thaws this year. The snowbanks are very high! I am glad we invested in a snowblower that hubby can ride, we aren't getting any younger.

Here's Charlie looking out over his winter wonderland! We are fortunate to have a property where the snow can be thrown. My daughter lives in a house with very little room between houses, I really don't know where they will put the snow coming over the next week - the banks are already so high, they had trouble last week.

I hope the Snow Moon bring all of these things this month!

That reminds me of the New England Winter of 2015, aka "Snowmageddon". I'm getting flashbacks to snowbanks covering my front windows and having to dig myself out of my back door (because the front door was an impassable wall of snow).

I never want to see another winter like that ever. I had to hire a payloader to move the snow way back into the field, there was no room for new snow banks in the driveway and parking lot. Not good times.

I will happily take snow over the thunder sleet we had last night. We were lucky here and our roads look like they are drying out. North and west of us got hit hard with ice. Not enough to impact power but it closed a good chunk of the highways up there.

Just get me through the next week and hopefully we will warm up. I'm over winter.

wasnt that fun though? I had to shovel my roof for the only time ever. then jumped off 25 feet into the pile of 5 feet of snow.

Some people love to claim an allergy to get a substitution which only makes it harder for those of us who do. I’ve had to show my epi pen before to prove my allergy.
Biggest one we get is gluton so we just wrap tacos in lettuce and no wantons in island slaw. Not that big of a deal really to alter. At least at our restaurant.

Think I did gluton free cheeseburgers recently.

Would you like my opinion on aircraft carriers? :D I've been on one before.

Once.

When it was docked.

Gluten is a big allergy and obviously legit. There are some people who fake certain allergies and end up making crazy substitutions like what you posted.

I always look at menus before I go so I know what I can/can’t eat with my nut allergy especially at Italian places. I never want to make more work for you guys in the kitchen.
